Persons up to 14 years are considered children

Children not required to attend school before the age of 6 are only transported free of charge if accompanied by a suitable supervisor with a valid ticket. With each ticket, up to 4 or all of your own children under the age of 6 who are not required to attend school can be taken along free of charge. Otherwise, the fare for children is payable.

The regular fare is payable from the age of 15

In general, every person needs a valid ticket. You can take an adult or adolescent over 15 years free of charge on weekends with a AboCard adult or AboCard senior as well as a monthly card adult.

Hand luggage or portable items

There is no entitlement to the transport of things. Hand luggage and other, easily portable, non-bulky items can be transported when the passenger is traveling with them, provided that this does not endanger the safety and orderly operation and does not endanger or bother other passengers. In individual cases, the staff decides whether items are permitted for transportation and where they are to be accommodated in the vehicle.

Hand luggage, strollers, medical elevators, skis, toboggan sleds and other things as well as small animals (including dogs) in containers that are permitted to be carried are transported free of charge.

Carriage of bicycles

Each traveler is only allowed to take one bike. The transport is limited to two-wheeled, single-seat, non-motorized or electric auxiliary motorized bicycles as well as folded bicycle trailers. Mopeds are excluded from transportation. Transport is only possible within the scope of the available space and the technical suitability of the vehicles used. In case of doubt, the decision rests with the driving and / or operating personnel of the respective company.

Further information can be found in the FAQ's.

Dog, cat, mouse

Dogs are only transported under the supervision of a suitable person and on a lead. Dogs that can endanger passengers must wear a muzzle. Guide dogs that accompany a blind person are always allowed to be transported. Other animals may only be taken in suitable containers. Animals may not be accommodated in seats.

For dogs a valid single ticket child or a TravelCard for adults is to be purchased for the respective route. When using the 1st class of the DB, there is no additional charge for dogs for the 1st class. Guide dogs that accompany a blink person are transported free of charge.

Wheelchair users and accompanying persons

The free transportation of severely disabled people is based on the current version of the Social Security Code. The authorization is to be proven by the original of the severely handicapped ID in connection with a valid token. You can get this token from the district's pension office.

If possible, the staff should ensure that wheelchairs for the disabled and strollers for accompanying children can be taken. Please note that the boarding ramp on the bus has a maximum load of 350 kg. The decision to take it with you lies with the staff.
